Testing: Alternative/ Accommodations

Alternative Testing is available to PTCC students who have been approved for testing accommodations through the Director of Disability Services. Each consecutive semester students will be required to meet with Disability Services to pre-arrange for accommodated testing.

Testing: Make-Up

PTCC Testing Center offers make-up test proctoring for those students who, due to an emergency situation and/or unforeseeable circumstances, are not able to attend the original exam date for their registered course. Make-up testing is offered based on space and staffing availability and during regular Testing Center hours.

Please note that Makeup Testing must be approved by the faculty.

Student Responsibility:

  • Contact your faculty to request permission and pre-arrange a testing date to take your exam in the testing center. Faculty will complete the Faculty Proctoring Request Form and deliver your exam to the Testing Center.
  • Email proctoring@pine.edu to reserve a testing appointment at least 48 hours prior to test day.

    • Course:
    • Test Date:
    • Test time:  Hours of operation (M-F 8am-4pm)
    • Type of test:  (Make up, Accomodated, Distance etc.)
    • Computer needed
  • Once the testing appointment is scheduled the student will receive a confirmation email with CC to the instructor.
  • Bring identification; Student ID or driver's license.
  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to appointment time to allow for sign-in process and to store personal belongings not allowed in the testing room.

Faculty Responsibility:

  • Faculty will complete the online Faculty Proctoring Request Form, providing all necessary information required for the testing center staff proctor the test. No test will be administered without a completed Faculty Proctoring Request Form. 
  • Hand-deliver paper test(s) to Check-In Room 124 or email to proctoring@pine.edu. If after hours, slide test under door or place in the LRTC mailbox.
