Student Employment on Campus

Student employment is a convenient way for student to get work place experience, while making money to help them with the costs of college. Student employment is a convenient way for student to get work place experience, while making money to help them with the costs of college. Student employees are paid on a bi-weekly pay period, earn $12.50 per hour, and are allowed to work up to 10 hours per week during the academic year. Most positions are funded by federal or state work study funds; however, some are funded by student worker funds. Each position description states what funding is used for the position. If you have additional questions or want to know if you qualify for work study, contact the Financial Aid Office.

Employers post your position

Finding the right candidates starts at Pine Technical and Community College. The most productive method for recruitment is to make a colored flier.

To have your position posted follow these 3 steps

  1. Send an email to JobPostings@pine.edu
  2. Attach a PDF job posting document with contact information, required skills and abilities, location, and any additional details needed to apply.
  3. In the body of an email,
    • Include a title for the posting
    • Include both a posting start AND end date (all post without an end date will be end dated 3 weeks from posting date)

PTCC will review posting weekly and add listing to the online Job Board below. Pine reserves the right to reject or remove any posting at any time.
