The Management Information Systems Associate in Applied Sciences (MIS AAS) degree program provides students with practical and theoretical knowledge in the areas of business and information technology. The program prepares students for successful careers as business and information technology professionals through a curriculum that integrates studies of basic business concepts and general management principles, along with information technology knowledge and skills. Students investigate business processes related to the functional areas of business and gain experience with the most current technologies needed to support those processes. Program graduates possess a strong academic foundation which can lead to immediate workforce opportunities and/or transfer to either a Business or Information Technology bachelor’s degree program.
