Applying for the Scholarship

Amount of Scholarship

  • This scholarship will cover any remaining tuition and fees after the student’s Federal Pell Grant and MN State Grant have been applied to the student’s account. Up to $1,000 for books, tools, and supplies will be available.  

Student Eligibility

  • The student must be enrolled in a non-associate of arts program at Pine Technical & Community College, beginning in the semester following receipt of a high school diploma from the school indicated above.

First Year Scholarship

  • The student must complete the FAFSA and enroll full time (minimum 12 credits per semester) in a non-associate of arts program.

Second Year Scholarship: The Scholarship will be renewed for the 2023-2024 academic year if the student meets the following conditions and guidelines:

  • Successfully complete 24 credits during the 2022-2023 academic year
  • Achieve a minimum GPA of 2.5 at the end of 2022-2023 academic year
  • Required to meet with academic advisor each semester
  • Students are required to complete First Year Experience course
