Permit to Carry Course

Course Description
This class is designed for those wanting to securetheir Minnesota Permit to Carry license.
Students learn firearm safety, safe carry considerations, and the legal implications of your permit to carry licensing.

This 7-hour class is unique from other Permit to Carry courses. It incorporates basic hand gun information. This course will cover safety, handling,operation, storage and maintenance of hand gun platforms, including revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students will gain knowledge in basic shooting fundamentals and confidence in safely using their firearms. A range qualification is part of the course.Students will receive a certificate upon successful completion.
This class is conducted by a firearms instructor who is certified by the USCCA.

Permit to Carry Renewal Course

Course Description
This course is designed for a person who is already in possession of a Permit to Carry (PTC) and is looking to renew their current or recently expired MN Permit to Carry certification. Permits must be renewed every 5 years. This course will refresh and update the permitted individual on MN laws pertaining to carrying a firearm, safe handling,firearm selection, situational awareness, and best practices while carrying a firearm.

Women's Self-Defense & Stay Away Courses


Our instructors teach self-defense for every day life. They will teach you how to use your natural instincts to help you defend against an attack, no matter your fitness level or age. Classes offer students with or without previous experience in martial arts or self-defense to learn how to listen and respond to their inner alarm and to defend themselves against every day attacks, such as slaps, punches, chokes and more.

A 2 ½ hour seminar that introduces women to the Stay Aware Program. The seminar includes:

  • Talking Points
  •  Learning Self-Defense against:
    • Slap Attacks
    • Knife Attacks
    •  Grabbing & Pulling Attacks
    •  Pushing up against a Wall Attacks
    • Timeline Discussion - to show that you can ALWAYS DO SOMETHING
    • Hands-on training to apply what you've learned

 **Please wear comfortable, sportswear type clothing and leave all jewelry at home.**
