Next Generation

Pine Technical & Community College is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant Course in Onamia, MN as part of Governor Walz’s initiative to recruit, train and deploy at least 1,000 new certified nursing assistants for long-term care facilities.

Working as a nursing assistant (NA) is an excellent stand-alone career or an excellent way to launch a nursing career. This program will prepare you with the knowledge and clinical skills to work in a variety of settings including nursing homes, hospitals, adult day care centers, personal homes and assisted living facilities. NA training requires just a few weeks of time and provides the information and skills needed to become a Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota State Registry. Credit is earned toward PTCC's Nursing/Healthcare programs.
