Prior to Application
The following additional requirements must be completed prior to application:
Student must be in current good standing on the Minnesota or Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry
Document of current CPR for the Health Care Provider or CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Completion of required Criminal Background Checks
Clinical site physical/immunizations
Student must have GPA of 2.8 in Prerequisite courses to apply for the program.
Students must meet minimum benchmarks on entrance exam prior to acceptance into the program.
Application and acceptance to this portion of the program is required prior to taking the PRSG courses. Outside certification will be considered.
Note regarding prerequisite course substitutions
The following course combinations are accepted substitutes for BIOL 1240 and PRSG 1410:
For BIOL 1240 Health & Disease in Human Body (all 3 courses listed below)
BIOL 1250 General Biology I
BIOL 1260 Anatomy and Physiology I
BIOL 1270 Anatomy and Physiology II
For PRSG 1410 Human Development Across the Lifespan (both courses listed below)
PSYC 1200 Introduction to Psychology
PSYC 1250 Lifespan Development
