PTCC and BankMobile

PTCC has partnered with BankMobile, a financial services company, to offer a safer, more convenient, and more environmentally-friendly method of financial aid refund disbursements to students.  Financial aid and tuition refunds are disbursed to students via their selected refund preference.  Your options are:

  • Electronic deposit to another account

Money is transferred to another account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school.  Typically, it takes 1-2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.  

  • Electronic deposit to a BankMobile Vibe account

If you open a BankMobile Vibe account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school.

What Students need to do (and know)!

First, all students MUST ensure PTCC has a current, accurate mailing address on file to ensure the Refund Selection Kit and financial aid refunds are sent to the appropriate person(s).  How do you do this?

- Go to eServices
- Enter your StarID and password, Institution: Pine Technical & Community College
- Account Management
- Address Info
- Select "View" or "Edit" (If the "Edit" option is not available, contact Student Affairs to update your address.)

Students should look in the mail for the bright green envelope from BankMobile.  Once it arrives, use the Personal Code found inside the envelope to select your refund preference.  Just choose the option that best fits you - and be sure to get started as soon as it arrives.  Even if you are not expecting a refund, we may have money for you in the future, so do not wait.
