Microsoft Server Operating System

This course covers installing and configuring Microsoft Windows Server operating system. Topics include overview of the operating system, installation routines, various file systems and disk management functions, administration of the operating system, and exploration of Active Directory services. Students will also cover NetWare integration and migration, network protocols, routing and remote access, and Microsoft Internet Information Server. Additionally, students will be introduced to monitoring and optimizing Windows Server. (Prerequisites: COCP 1209 MS Workstation Operating System.) Offered Spring.
