Principles of Chemistry II

This is the second course in a two-course introduction to chemistry.  In this course, students will learn the basic concepts of chemistry including:  stoichiometry, chemical bonding, molecular structure, the behavior of gases, liquids, solids and solutions, chemical equilibria, chemical kinetics, chemical nomenclature, chemical reactions and equations, and an introduction to organic, polymer, and nuclear chemistry.  Quantitative laboratory experiments will emphasize observation, the organization of data, and data analysis.
