500 Job Description Development/Revision

The purpose of this policy is to define and communicate the process of job description development and revision.


501 Hiring Process

The hiring of qualified personnel is one of the most critical functions that College managers can perform. To this end, PTCC establishes this structure and process for the hiring of all personnel in the College.


502 Faculty Overload

Due to student demand, it is often necessary to schedule faculty to assume a greater workload than is allowed based on the definition of full-time faculty in the Agreement between MnSCU and MSCF.


503 Payroll Distribution Change

The purpose of this policy is to define a process through which payroll costs are reallocated between cost centers.


504 Overtime

To fairly and equitably offer, assign, and compensate for overtime based on the terms and conditions of the appropriate collective bargaining agreement.


505 Time Reporting and Absence from Campus Policy

To ensure efficient and appropriate reporting of time worked and time taken by employees of PTCC in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreements and State regulations.


506 Reasonable Accommodations in Employment

This procedure sets forth the process to be used for responding to requests for reasonable accommodations in employment based on an applicant's or employee's disability.


507 Uniforms & Uniform Purchasing

It is the purpose of this policy to establish guidelines for the use of state funds in purchasing uniforms.
